Blake Banks

Director of People & Culture

Blake Banks joined the Hedges Eye Care team in 2025 as the Director of People & Culture. In this role, he is dedicated to fostering a workplace where employees thrive—both professionally and personally—within the Hedges Eye Care family. His passion lies in building strong, connected teams and helping individuals grow not just as employees, but as people. Before joining HEC, Blake served as a director for Cru, a campus ministry at the University of Florida. There, he mentored students and staff, helping them develop in their faith, leadership, and sense of community. Outside of work, Blake cherishes time with his wife Marie and daughter Kathryn. He’s deeply involved in his church community, enjoys a good mixed drink, and loves grilling and smoking meats on his back deck. He’s also an avid pickleball player and would love to dink with you!
